This page lists the different types of waivers that are needed in order to upload any video which contains another individual. Please ensure you obtain all of the necessary permissions prior to uploading your video to Panopto.
Waivers
Release for Use of Student Work
If your students will be uploading any work to Panopto, they must first complete this waiver. The waiver should be stored in a safe and accessible location.
Photo and Video Release
Any individual appearing in a video is required to fill out this waiver. The creator of the video is responsible for storing each waiver in a safe and accessible location.
Lecture Capture Location Notice
Panopto can help you easily record your class session, and easily share the video with your students. Each time you record your class, you must provide advance notice to your students, and post this notice of release outside all entrances.
