Update: Humber’s Panopto Support Team has not received any new reports of users experiencing this error; however, we ask users who are seeing this error to kindly take a screenshot and send it to panopto@humber.ca. Panopto continues to investigate this intermittent matter with Blackboard. Please see below for an example of what the error looks like, along with a workaround.
Note: New users will see an “End-user License Agreement” the first time they use Panopto – this screen is expected and users simply need to click “Accept” to continue.

Active Issue: Users who are trying to use Panopto within Blackboard, or who are loading a page containing a Panopto video may sporadically receive an error alert on Blackboard mentioning “provider.org.apache…”. The issue appears to be isolated to a small number of users. Humber’s Panopto Support Team has filed a ticket with Panopto, and they are actively investigating the matter with Blackboard. If you are seeing this error, kindly take a screenshot and send it to panopto@humber.ca for our knowledge.
Workaround: As the issue is sporadic, simply try to reload the page in a short while (5 to 15 minutes or greater). You may also try to clear your cache and cookies, and try to load the page again.
